Home Euthanasia

Circle of Life vets feel very strongly about making sure clients have the support they need while making Quality of Life decisions for their pets.  While not an experience to which anyone looks forward, dealing with the end of a pet's life is something all pet owners will most likely face at least once in their lives.  I am here to guide you through both the hospice stage and, if needed, the euthanasia and after care, and  will do so with the utmost compassion for both you and your pet.

About Dr. Jisha

Ramy Jisha DVM grew up in NE Texas.  She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.  Her husband, Kent, is also a veterinarian, he practices dairy medicine.

They have a ranch outside Amarillo and a variety of pets and livestock.  There are a few Jersey cows, some Brahmas (Dr. Jisha's Christmas present!), a herd of crossbred beef cows, various horses and mules, cats, a Border Collie, a Standard Poodle and a Belgian Malinois.

The Jishas now have a place outside Canon City, CO, where Dr. Jisha is currently practicing.

Dr. Jisha trains Search and Rescue dogs and is working on trailing and human remains detection with her current Malinois, Zypper.

She loves trail riding with her daughter, and their latest equine endeavor is mounted archery!

She has always had an interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is excited to offer this amazing option to pets in the Canon City and Pueblo area.

Voicemail or text...?

I have no employees.

I do all of my own communications. Text is more efficient than voicemail. I can respond faster to a text.

Telephone:  719-315-0994

Feel free to call or text this number.  Particularly when discussing end of life issues, I know it is often easier to type than talk about such an emotionally charged subject.

This number DOES go to my personal cell phone, so please be considerate of that.
